Roscrea Hurling Club Notes

Adult training continues on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sunday mornings.

U16 training will be on Monday and Thursday from 7pm to 8.15 pm.

U14 training will take place on Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 6pm and Saturday s from 4pm to 5pm

U12 training will be on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm

U6, U8 AND U10 training will continue on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 11.30am. U8’s and U10’s will also train on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Any individual, family, group or organisation interested in contributing €100 towards the building cost of our new wall can contact Paul Phelan on 087 7763805, or any Committee member. All contributors shall have their name added to a plague which will be permanently featured in our new entrance hall to the club house. Work will commence shortly.

Congratulations to the Roscrea Junior B Hurling team who won the North Tipperary Junior Championship final on Saturday last. Before the game a presentation of kit Bags was made by the owners of Loughnanes Pub, Roscrea, to the team. Pictured L/R:

A large number of children of all ages and nationalities gathered in the Library in Roscrea recently for the Annual Prize giving Ceremony.  Their proud parents and family members and their teachers accompanied the children.


 



Ongoing work at Roscrea Hurling Club. 

Those interested in helping with painting, cleaning, landscaping, decorating, IT, fundraising etc are all very welcome to get involved.  The co-ordinators for this massive community spirited initiative are Kevin Brady 0868239565, Proinnsias Loughnane 0878389667 and Bertie Fitzpatrick 0862435793

Please do give them a call so that they can update you on the current situation with regards the club’s development and how you can play an integral role in the future growth and development of Roscrea Hurling Club.



The launch of the Roscrea Hurling Club “Development Draw” took place on Friday last.  Tickets are on sale now and all proceeds will be used to help with facilitating the great plans that are in place to help develop the facilities at St Cronan’s Park.
